Just finished Saturday morning masters and all we did was drills. Not just drills for the sake of doing drills but really trying to improve technique. In most cases the feedback I was giving was centered around slowing down in order to be in a better position and find more power in the stroke. Which in the long run will actually make you faster!
Make it a habit to get to practice on time to take advantage of the warm up sets. The warm up is the best place to slow down and form good habits that you can rely on during the rest of the workout. Also, don’t be afraid to ask your coaches for more feedback about your strokes.
